Curry on the Cut

Who it’s for
For anyone who spends more than 50% of their time living onboard on the Lancaster Canal or anyone who wants to support those that do. Whether you’ve lived on the cut for years or you’re newly afloat, we want to hear from you.
What to expect
- Open-door, drop-in style — come and go as it suits you.
- Meet the LCBA committee and have a chat about welfare, help and local issues.
- Pledge to volunteer your time to0 help others if you can.
- Share your ideas on what support would make life aboard easier on the Lancaster Canal.

Free curry — Chicken and a Vegetarian option served from 14.10
We’re offering a free Chicken Curry or a free Vegetarian Curry to visitors. To make sure there’s enough for everyone, please reserve a free curry ticket when you RSVP.
- Chicken curry — hearty, warming and served with rice.
- Vegetarian curry — equally filling and tasty for vegetarian guests.

This event is run by volunteers from the Lancaster Canal Boaters Association. If you can’t make it but want to tell us about your needs, please contact the LCBA committee via the contact page. We look forward to meeting you on the day. Come for the curry, stay for the conversation — and help build a stronger boating community on the Lancaster Canal.
